Folk Art Birdfeeders

Saturday February 13, 2021

This weekend we are encouraging Mendocino County Museum friends and supporters to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count. This annual event helps researchers at the National Audubon Society, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and Birds Canada learn more about birds and their habitats.  To learn more about the event and find out how you can participate visit: https://www.audubon.org/conservation/about-great-backyard-bird-count

To celebrate birds and the GBBC we are sharing a fun way you can help birds in your own backyard by creating a Folk Art Birdfeeder. You can watch the video on how to make a Folk Art Birdfeeder on the Mendocino County Museum Facebook page.
